Mixed Use Development, Sheffield
TPS have been appointed by Coda Studios to address all transport issues in relation to the development of a large mixed use site on Northumberland Road, Sheffield. The development proposals, which include for a 330 space underground multi storey car park, require a detailed assessment of the local highway network, as well as a carefully structured argument.
Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital, Welwyn
TPS have been appointed to prepare a travel plan for the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital in Welwyn in support of an application to provide additional office floorspace with associated parking.
Residential Development, Aiskew
TPS have been appointed by Taylor Wimpy to prepare a transport assessment and travel plan in support of residential development in Aiskew, North Yorkshire.
Travel Planning at West Suffolk Hospital
TPS have completed a Travel Plan, Sustainable Accessibility Audit and Car Park Management Strategy for the West Suffolk Hospital NHS Trust. Occupying 85 acres of parkland in Bury St Edmunds the Hospital has a catchment area of 600 square miles and is the towns largest employer with 2400 staff.
TPS were appointed to develop a strategy to address issues of high car parking demand, and to increase the accessibility of the hospital for all users.
Mixed Used Development in Scarborough
TPS have been appointed to review and advise upon the traffic and transportation aspects of a mixed use development in Scalby, Scarborough.
With 490 residential dwellings and 3,500 sqm of employment floor space a Transport Assessment and Framework Travel Plan have been agreed with both the Local Planning Authority and the Highways Agency to maximise the sustainable accessibility of the site for all land uses, hence minimising the impact of the development on both the local and regional road network.
TPS Appointed to Work With Bank of America
TPS have been instructed to prepare a Travel Plan for Bank Of America in support of a planning application to formalise car parking at their Croydon site in south London. As the car park is already in use the TP will work with BoA to encourage the use of more sustainable forms of transport, taking advantage of the wide variety of public transport opportunities provided throughout the area.
This forward thinking travel plan (including initiatives such as electric charging points for motorcycles) will further enhance the already considerable experience of creating and implementing inner city Travel Plans within the TPS team.
Residential Development, Barnsley
TPS have been appointed to prepare a Transport Statement and Travel Plan in support of proposals to develop a residential estate in Stairfoot, Barnsley. Further details to follow shortly.
Mixed use development, Leeds
TPS have been appointed by ACE Investments to prepare a Transport Assessment and Framework Travel Plan for mixed use development at Sweet Street, Leeds.
Sweet Street is a major mixed use development area on the periphery of the central business district of Leeds and on the edge of the Holbeck Urban Village. The development consists of 8,294sqm of offices, 1,028sqm of leisure floor space, and a 596 space multi storey car park.
Office Development, Leeds
TPS have been appointed by CDP Developments Ltd to prepare a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan for a new office development at Queen Street in Leeds City Centre.
The development proposals include for the demolition of two existing office blocks and the creation of a new office building of five floors and a gross floor space of 8419 sqm.
The travel plan at Queen Street was developed to achieve the highest possible BREEAM rating.
