Royd Hill Road Safety Audit

The purpose of a Road Safety Audit (RSA) is to identify and highlight any aspects of a highway scheme that has the potential to give rise to or exacerbate road safety issues; the audit will suggest modifications to the design of the scheme that would reduce the risk of accidents and serious injury.

A series of RSAs are undertaken at various stages of the design process.  TPS were appointed to undertaken a both Stage 1 and Stage 2 Road Safety Audits of proposed highway improvement works associated with development on Sutton Lane in Sutton in Craven.  Prepared on behalf of Candelisa, our Stage 1 RSA considered the preliminary design of the works and the Stage 2 RSA considered the detailed design.

Our engineers have extensive experience of the design of highway works for major schemes to minor improvements.  Our audit team has significant experience in the field of road safety engineering and highway scheme development.  The team has undertaken audits across the U.K., for a variety of clients from local authorities to individual private developers and landowners and we appreciate that audits are often required at short notice, to meet tight deadlines.  Subject to the nature and size of the scheme, we can often turn around an audit in just a few days; please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail.
