Last week we held our first Active Travel Week at Newcastle Great Park, where we act as Travel Plan Coordinator and it proved really popular!
Free Dr. Bike servicing was available to residents, Halfords offered free e-bike trials, with the opportunity to borrow one to ride around the Park, and we organised two led-cycle rides, catering for different ages / abilities.
Steve, whose children both attended a ride said ‘The kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience & Katy (the instructor) was great with them’
Sally, who also took part, commented ‘It was a great ride, well organised, thanks!’
