Stress Awareness Month

Did you know that April is Stress Awareness Month? A time when people are encouraged to learn about the effects of stress on their health, identify triggers and learn how to manage them. We all appreciate how stress can greatly impact people’s health and well-being.

Here at TPS, we want to avoid stress triggers, all year round, not just during Stress Awareness Month. Having happy and healthy employees is massively important to us. Therefore, we are strong believers in a positive work/life balance. Here are just a few ways in which we encourage this:

Flexible working – Other life commitments are important. We operate a flexible work policy whether this be for family reasons or to allow time for appointments and other activities.

TOIL – There are occasions when working additional hours is needed. To encourage our team to take the time back, we have an official TOIL policy in place with extra days of leave available.

Dogs! – Arguably the most important?! We have office dogs 🐶 who regularly make an appearance to help keep stress at bay! Brian and Dixie are both guaranteed to put a smile on people’s faces (proof below!)
