It’s great to see a recent planning approval for Revoe Community Sports Village, Blackpool Football Club. TPS services on the project included a Transport Assessment and subsequent highways Technical Note to support the planning submission of a full-sized artificial football pitch in addition to a 5-a-side grass pitch, changing pavilion and storage building.
The work undertaken by TPS needed to address concerns regarding overspill parking from the proposed development onto the local highway network and crossover between the facility and the use of the adjacent Blackpool FC stadium.
The TPS team worked alongside Avison Young, Steve Wells Associates and Open on the project.
