TPS are delighted to once again work alongside PCMS, in support of proposals for a new Health and Well-Being Centre in the village of Long Crendon. The proposals, which require the preparation of a Transport Assessment, include the relocation of an existing GP Surgery from the High Street, incorporating community facilities which will be available for social prescribing activities such as weight watchers, AA, mother & baby, self-help groups.
Being located on a new residential development in the village it was important to demonstrate that the proposals would not have a detrimental impact on the local road network and that all parking demand could be accommodated within the Centre’s car park. Given the bespoke nature of the proposals, we have worked closely with the design team to understand the likely operation of the site, preparing a report which demonstrates through operational assessments and car park accumulation that the development can come forward without an undue highways impact on nearby residents.
